Chester Road will be closed to regular traffic between S. Fairfield Road and Waterloo Road on January 22, 23, and 26 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM due to sewer lining work. The project is being conducted by contractor Mr. Rehab, with oversight from an inspector assigned by Carroll Engineering.

During the closure, only residents and local traffic will have access to Chester Road as needed. According to a traffic plan approved by PennDOT, one lane of S. Waterloo Road at the Chester Road intersection will also be closed.

The sewer lining work uses trenchless technology, which means there will be no open trenches along the road. Residents connected to sections of sewer being lined will receive notifications from the on-site inspector and are asked to limit water usage during the process. All lateral connections are expected to be restored once the liner cures and before each day’s work ends.
