The Darby Creek Valley Association and the Easttown Township Environmental Advisory Committee are organizing a volunteer event focused on removing invasive plant species at Sharp’s Woods Preserve. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Volunteers will gather on Argyle Road, between Hawthorne Place and Green Hills Lane.

Participants of all experience levels are encouraged to join. Organizers will provide tools and guidance, while volunteers are asked to bring gloves and be prepared for hands-on work.

The effort aims to support the health of the local habitat by addressing the issue of invasive plants in the preserve. The organizers emphasize community involvement in environmental stewardship through this initiative.

“Let’s work together to make a lasting impact on our local environment!”
