The Environmental Advisory Council will host a workshop featuring Michael Cranney, Director of Stewardship for Willistown Conservation Trust. The event will focus on how residents can convert parts of their lawns into habitats that support birds, pollinators such as butterflies and bees, and other wildlife.
The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Easttown Library in Berwyn. Registration details are available at https://www.easttownlibrary.org/.
This initiative is supported by a Growing Greener Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
“Learn how to turn part of your lawn – large or small – into a habitat for birds, pollinating butterflies and bees, and other creatures that benefit humans and the environment,” according to the event announcement.
The workshop aims to provide practical guidance for creating environmentally friendly spaces in residential areas.
