On Sunday, March 9, former Conestoga Senior High School standout Jake Friel’s current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.

The game took place at E. T. Straw Family Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at George H.W. Bush ’48 Field against Yale Bulldogs.
