On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Malvern Preparatory School standout Jack Stead’s current college team, the NJIT Highlanders, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Yogi Berra Stadium against Iona Gaels.
