East Whiteland issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has opened a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in the Ashbridge Square Shopping Center (next to Staples and Home Depot) located at 945 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. The DRC will help those affected by Hurricane Ida with applying for federal assistance, learn about what assistance is available and more.
Hours of operation are:
- Monday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Closed Sundays
