East Whiteland issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the East Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors will hold a hybrid public meeting on Friday November 5th, 2021 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm to discuss the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) proposed remedial response action to address the contamination associated with the Bishop Tube Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act (HSCA) site located in the Township.
This will be the first of two meetings held by the Board of Supervisors related to this subject. The second meeting will be held in the evening also hybrid and in person, date, and time to be determined.
Instructions on how to access the virtual meeting shall be available on the Township website at https://www.eastwhiteland.org at noon on Thursday November 4, 2021.
Interested persons may hear and participate in the meeting through the remote access, or in person. Anyone with a disability requiring a special accommodation to attend the meeting should notify Donna Wikert, Board Secretary, at 610-648-0600 X267. The Township will make every effort to provide a reasonable accommodation.
