Willistown issued the following announcement on Nov. 17.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the offices of the Township located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Willistown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, to conduct such business as may properly come before the Board and to hold a hearing on the following:

 Application Z-8-21:   Application of Willistown Knoll Homeowners Association which seeks a variance from §139-111.P(1)(a) (Nonconforming signs) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit a nonconforming property identification sign located on the property to be changed to another nonconforming sign due to altered cosmetic or structural enhancement, which is otherwise not permitted, for the property located at the intersection of Street and Dartmouth Roads being UPI No. 54-8-22.1, in the RA-1 Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary.

 Application Z-9-21:  Application of Jeffrey and Rebecca Sidman which seeks a variance from §139-18.C(2) (Yards) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a 360 square feet concrete pad and storage shed which will encroach approximately 35 feet into the required 40 feet side yard; Applicants also seek a variance from §139-94.B (Yard exception for accessory uses and buildings) to permit a structure with a footprint of more than 150 square feet in the required yards, where it is otherwise not permitted, for the property located at 222 Spring Road, being UPI No. 54-3-150, in the RA Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary. 

Copies of the foregoing applications are available for public inspection at the Township office during normal business hours.  An opportunity will be given to any citizen and to all parties in interest to be heard with respect to these applications.
