Barkley Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
We know you will join us in congratulating Mrs. Lisa Gray, the PASD Citadel Heart of Learning Award winner! Mrs. Gray is an exceptional teacher in the Phoenixville Area Middle School, and we couldn’t be prouder to have her represent PASD. She will receive a lovely, engraved glass award, a monetary grant, and join the winners from all of the Chester County school districts at the Citadel Awards Banquet at the Mann Center for Performing Arts in May. Mrs. Gray was extremely surprised to be selected for this honor, and simply stated “I love what I do. I just try to connect the learning to real life as much as I can and make it fun for the kids.”
