Matthew Davis and his teammates were the first USA men’s quad to reach the semifinals since 2011 - allowing them to compete in Varese, Italy at the U23 2022 World Rowing Championships. The World Rowing Under 23 Championships is the top event of the year for the under-23 rower and includes 22 boat classes and up to 1,000 rowers from around the world attend.
Matthew helped his men’s heavyweight quadruple scull finish 11th at the 2022 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Varese, Italy.
