Warwick Township is seeking qualified applicants for two full-time Public Works Operator/Laborer positions. The Operator/Laborer is a member of a team which is responsible for the construction and maintenance of Township property including roads, parks, buildings, and equipment.

   The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience in Public Works, or a construction-related field and basic knowledge of construction practices, trench work and mechanics. This individual must be available for on-call during the winter months as evening/weekend hours will be required.

   This position provides year-round employment, excellent hours, health care coverage, a defined benefit pension and a starting rate based upon the individual’s skills and knowledge.

   The ideal candidate will be team oriented, at least 18 years of age, possess a valid Class B PA Commercial Driver’s License, and be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical, a State Police Criminal Background Check, and a PA Department of Motor Vehicle Records Check. Candidates must also possess reliable transportation and live within 30 minutes of Warwick Township.

   Qualified applicants are invited to submit an application for employment to the Warwick Township Office, 315 Clay Road, Lititz, PA 17543, between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.  The deadline for receipt of applications is 02/28/2023.
