Congratulations to the Girls 200 freestyle relay comprising senior Hadley Mardis, junior Liza Barbash, sophomore Maddy Deeney, and junior Kenzie Padilla, for qualifying for the PIAA State Championship meet on Friday and Saturday March 16 and 17 at Bucknell University. The girls had to wait all week after their district meet on 2/24 and 25 for the rest of the districts in the state to compete, and learned late Friday night that they had qualified, snagging the final at large bid in the state!
In addition to the relay swim, Maddy Deeney also qualified for the 200 freestyle and Kenzie Padilla qualified for the 100 fly and the 500 freestyle. Be sure to congratulate the girls when you see them. Special thanks to Julie Cordingley and Tom Gamble for being incredible coaches for many seasons.
